Mission trips have always been a special way of strengthening our ties to Tamani Kenya. We get to share our love and faith whether we’re lending a helping hand with ongoing projects, teaching Bible school stories or just sitting one on one with a child to connect, and encourage. The children of Tamani are absolutely fearless. Many of them come from harsh backgrounds and have suffered greatly, but their spirits are undaunted. We’re greeted by smiles and laughter every time we come visit.

Isinya is a 10-acre plot of land purchased to fulfill James and Truphena’s dream to move the children out of the slums and into a safer environment. This land was purchased in 2009 and named after the rural town it is located near. We now have a primary school named Kamili Pride to serve Tamani's children and the community. Take an adventure

When you go on mission with us, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in Kenyan culture and explore Africa's gorgeous landscape. Every year we allow time for at least one full day of safari at the Maasai Mara National Reserve, named after the historic Maasai people. Our mission trips usually take place in July, in alignment with the Great Wildebeest Migration.
